Doubling Monte Carlo Poker
Game Objective
Doubling Monte Carlo Poker is a popular machine game based on the
theme of Monte Carlo. The objective of the game is to obtain a five-card poker
hand that contains at least one pair of jacks or better, to a maximum jackpot of
a Royal Flush.
The machine gives you five cards; and gives the player the option to choose the
cards he wants to hold. The machine replaces the cards, which the player does
not hold. Player wins according to the value of the hand. Doubling Video Poker
gives the player the added option of trying to double his win amount if he
chooses.
How To Play
- Click chips to insert coins and add Credits to the Monte Carlo machine.
The amount of credits you have inserted is shown in the 'Credits' box.
- Next, choose the total amount that you wish to wager in the round by
clicking on the 'Bet One' button up to five times. If you choose to wager
the maximum amount (the machine denomination x 5) simply push the 'Bet Max'
button. If you press the 'Bet Max' button, your cards will be dealt
automatically. If you use the 'Bet One' button to select the number of
wagered coins, you must press the 'Deal' button to receive your cards.
- Click 'Deal'. You receive 5 cards face up.
- Click a card or click 'Hold' to hold a card. You can hold up to 5 cards
shown this way.
- After making your selections, click 'Draw'. The cards that are not held
will be replaced. You win based on the combination of the new set of cards
and according to the Payout table shown below.
- Whenever you like, you may cash out to receive your credits in the machine
by pressing the 'Cash Out' button. Your money will be returned to your
account balance.

The doubling game
This option is given to the player if he has a win at the Monte Carlo
Poker game. If you choose to "double" you are dealt one open and four
facedown cards.
You can choose any one of the four facedown cards.
If you choose a card that is smaller than face up card, you lose your
original winning. If the cards are equal, it is a tie, and you have the option
to collect your original winnings or double again. If your card is bigger, you
win double the amount of your original winnings. You then have the option to
collect your winnings or double even further.
