Specific Betting Rules By Sport

Standard (To Win) bet / single event bet

This is the basic bet on the outcome of a game or match, i.e. A to win or B to win. When a price is given for the draw, this is also a valid bet.

Proposition (Speciality) bets

These are bets on particular occurrences with a game. These are known as Speciality bets outside the US.

Correct Score

This is a bet to predict the final score in a game, and is based on the number of goals scored by each team (soccer), or the number of sets won by each player (tennis).

Double Result

This is a bet on who will be winning at half time and at full time. It is one bet, predicting the outcome of both halves of the game, and both predictions must be correct to win. A draw is a valid outcome for both halves. There are nine possible outcomes (where H = home team, A = away team, D = draw):
H-H, H-D, H-A, D-H, D-D, D-A, A-H, A-D, A-A

First/Last Goal Scorer

This is a bet on who will score the first or last goal in a match.

Match Bet

This is a bet between two people, to predict who will get the best score in a tournament. The players may not physically play against each other in any round; this bet is based purely on their individual scores over the whole tournament (i.e. 72 holes).

3 Ball Bet

This is a bet on a single round of golf between three players, to predict which of the three players will win a specific round (i.e. 18 holes). There is no draw option. This bet is usually available only during the first or second round of the tournament, and Dead Heat rules apply.

2 Ball Bet

This is a bet on a single round of golf between two players, to predict which of the two players will win a specific round (i.e. 18 holes). The draw is a valid bet. This bet is usually available only during the third or fourth round of the tournament.

Future (Tournament) bets

In a Tournament, a number of participants are all competing to come first and therefore win the Tournament. Competitions, leagues, races and championships are also classed as Tournaments. Outside the US, Futures are known as Tournament bets.

It is a bet to predict who will come first (in a race, a league, a competition etc), and applies to all sports.

Multiple bets

In a Multiple bet you can combine several different predictions, all of which must be correct for the Multiple to win. You can mix different sports in a Multiple bet.

The minimum number of selections in a Multiple is two; the maximum number is eight. In the event of one selection becoming void, the bet drops down to the next level, e.g. a three-team Multiple would drop to a two-team Multiple; a two-team Multiple would drop to a single bet.

Side

A bet on the Side is a bet to predict who will win the game, and is usually handicapped. The handicap is known as the Spread. The underdog will be given a head start of a particular number of points, and the favourite will be handicapped by the same number of points. If the favourite has a handicap of -2.5, for example, it must to beat the underdog by three or more points to still win the bet. If the final score, taking into account the Spread, is a tie (known as a Push), the bet is considered void, and your stake is refunded.

Baseball Side bets do not have a Spread attached to them. They are linked to the selection of one or both starting pitchers.

Total

This is a bet to predict whether the combined score of both teams will go either over or under the total figure nominated by the odds maker. If the combined final score falls on the total specified, it is classed as a Push, in which case the bet is considered void, and your stake is refunded.

Moneyline

This is a bet to predict who will win the event outright, i.e. without a Spread. This bet is less popular than betting on the Side, because the price for the Side is usually better value. If the final score is a tie (known as a Push), the bet is considered void, and your stake is refunded.

Runline

This is a bet to predict which team will score the highest number of runs. This bet is handicapped, with the underdog always given +1.5 points advantage. If the final score, taking into account the handicap, is a tie (known as a Push), the bet is considered void, and your stake is refunded.

Parlays

In a Parlay you combine several different predictions (in one sport or across other sports), all of which must be correct for the Parlay to win.

The minimum number of selections in a Parlay is two; the maximum number six or ten, depending on the sports you choose. In the event of one selection becoming void or pushing, the bet drops down to the next level, e.g. a three-team Parlay would drop to a two-team Parlay; a two-team Parlay would drop to a single bet.

Teasers

A teaser is a special type of parlay in which you adjust the point spread or total of each individual play in your favor. The price of moving the point spread (teasing) is lower pay off odds for winning wagers.

Pleasers

A Pleaser is a special type of parlay that pays better odds than a standard parlay for moving the point spread or total against your favor. Essentially you make it more difficult for each wager in the Pleaser to win in return for payoff odds nearly 3 times higher than normal parlay odds. This is the exact opposite of a Teaser. In order to win, all the bets in the Pleaser must win by the new adjusted line. This bet is an excellent way to maximize winnings in games where the lines do not accurately predict the true outcome.

Specific Betting Rules By Sport

Football - NFL & NCAA - 55 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes.

Basketball - NBA - 43 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes - NCAA - 35 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes.

Hockey - NHL - 55 minutes of play needed for wagering purposes.

Baseball - MLB - Baseball wagers are accepted as "Listed." - For betting purposes, each team's starting pitcher is defined as the pitcher that throws the first pitch. - In the event of a pitching change prior to the game, all wagers on a team are considered "No Action". All wagers will be refunded to the customers account - Games are official after 5 innings of play or 4.5 innings if the home team is leading. - If a game is subsequently called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team ties the score or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning. Then the winner will be determined by the score at the time the game is called. - When wagering on total runs or run lines, the game must go the regulation 9 innings or 8.5 innings if the home team is leading, otherwise it will constitute a "No Action" wager, and all money will be credited accordingly. Wagers on total runs will be "No Action" if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch. - Any and all baseball series wagers must have all 3 games played by the end of a specified date for the wager to have action. If all 3 games are not played by that specified date, then all wagers are "No Action", regardless if one team has 2 wins.

Soccer - The result of the game is decided after regulation play (90 minutes including injury time). Overtime, the Silver & Golden Goal rule, and penalty kicks (after regulation play) are not taken into consideration for soccer bets unless otherwise stipulated.

Golf - Should a tournament be shortened due to weather or otherwise affected the official result will be used when settling, regardless of the number or rounds played. However, should there be no further play after a bet is struck that bet will be void.

- For matchup betting all of the players listed in the matchup bet offer must tee off for your bet to have action. The player with the most completed holes wins. If the players complete the same number of holes, then the player with the lowest score wins. For betting purposes, if the players are still tied then the winner will be deemed the player who scored the lowest score in the last round played and so on, until a winner is found. If both golfers in a match-up are in a playoff a) winner of play-off wins the match-up and b) all other playoff participants tie each other - Single day matchups are wagers on the particular day's 18-holes. Holes played as part of a completion from the previous day's round, and playoff holes are not included in Single Day matchups. Should a day's round be shortened, or otherwise affected due to weather conditions, and the round is continued the next day, the full 18 holes will be considered in determining the outcome of the bet (even if they are played over two days). If both members of the matchup do not complete the full 18 holes, all bets are "No Action". If both players end the 18 holes in a tie, the bet is considered a "No Action" wager. Motorsport / Auto Racing - In the event that the driver or team a customer bets upon for the outright championship does not start the race, the bet is considered actioned (no refunds on the bet). - The official winner at the conclusion of the race will be the winner for betting purposes. - Both drivers in a match up wager must start the race for the bet to have action. Special Motorsport Rule: Races must be run within one week of the scheduled date for your bet to have action.

Tennis - In the event that a match has started but was not completed, the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner. In the event of any of the following circumstances taking place all bets will stand: (i) a change of playing surface, (ii) a change of venue or (iii) a change from indoor court to outdoor court or vice versa.

Boxing - A full round is only considered for wagering purposes when the bell sounds signifying the end of said round. The official stopping of a round before the sounding of the bell does not constitute a full round. If the fight ends in a 12 round draw, all bets lose. If one or both fighters fail to answer the bell for a round, the fight is judged to have finished in the previous round. If the scheduled number of rounds is changed, all bets on pick the round are void. Special Boxing Rule: Fights must be run within one week of the specified date for your bet to have action.

Other Sports - All other events that involve a scheduled length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion or have five minutes or less of the scheduled playing time remaining when the contest concludes to be considered official for wagering purposes.
